Dashboard finish is peeling

Looks like there’s a coating, maybe they’re painted? But it’s peeling and I don’t know what to do about it. Obviously my phone is causing some wear but I’ve never seen anything like this. Any suggestions on what I can do about it?FCC12A49-5DBD-4FFE-BD0E-F648CD2056D6.jpeg
