Custom headliner mods...?

Anyone ever do custom headliner work?

So my SUV has an aftermarket sunroof installed. It sits back about 4-5 inches farther than the factory one. A slick roof headliner has the hump in the middle wheres the factory sun roof headliner vehicles do not.

so i was thinking get a sunroof headliner, trim the back of it to where my sunroof sits and add that material to the front. Whats the best to achieve this? Fiberglass and resin?

I'm open to any ideas, or tips. I'd like to try to attempt this myself. I know it may be pricey, and i'd prefer it to be done right, but i wouldn't mind saving a few $$ as well and i prefer to do things myself.

I would get the liner for one without the sunroof and cut it out where you need it.
