Depends what you order. Lots of constraints right now. Example my High Country has been at Status 1100 for 5 weeks now with now end in sight.

I just heard yesterday that the chip problem is supposed to diminish a bit. I heard the main chip supplier is back up to about 80%.

It’s interesting they say that and still you can’t order most option packages and they aren’t building anything with MAX tow.

I ordered a Yukon Denali 7.5 weeks ago. Still in preliminary, but it really depends on allocation. I’m next in line for allocation and he cannot promise me that I will not get a 22. He’s (salesman) not sure if I’ll be getting a 21.

To be honest you’re so lucky if you can order because it orders were supposed to be cut off already at least they will be by this month I believe. Ordered a Tahoe Z71 for the wife 4/28. It's still in 1100.

I was notified yesterday- my order is delayed due to no technology package.

So who knows how long it will be at this point. Could get lucky and have it picked up in another month, I could have to wait a few more months for it to be picked up - making it a 22.

until then, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for in stock vehicles.

Just for the heck of asking... Can i assume that the Chips that everyone is waiting on are coming from Asia?
I hear some Camera and Stereo receivers are going through the same thing.

The biggest thing is the allocation. I put in an order back in January, but there was absolutely no movement in the order until the dealer got the allocation for the build on April 1. Then it moved quite quickly over the following 6-8 weeks. I did have to remove the driver alert package to keep it moving due to a constraint, but I was ok with losing the feature.

China, 3 main factories that make the chips. 1 China, 2 Taiwan. My conspiracy is that they are being held on purpose for the EV push.

Ordered a Tahoe LT with Max Trailering package on January 25. Still no build date. Reading so many comments that say they waited so long only to receive they build without all the features requested. Strongly considering backing out until this chip crisis is over so I can ensure getting all the features I want. The entire purpose of ordering this vehicle was to have the ability to tow a trailer safely and comfortably. I've already waited 5 months. Might as well keep waiting til I can get exactly what I want. Will need to see if my dealer will give me my $5000 deposit back.

You should be watching dealer incoming stock. There are still many units coming in every day that have max trailering. Many are already sold on the way in, but there are a few out there if you’re willing to search and make phone calls. Mine came loaded with everything including things that they are excluding from new orders and it was just a factory dealer order. I just got lucky, but you can too if you are diligent….

My order of an XL Denali I placed in October last year that has everything except for the rear seat media is now being built. The wheels came available last month, the microchip shortage is slowly improving and they are starting to build more vehicles with the advanced tech package and air suspension.

Heard from my dealer today with good news on 2022 Tahoe z71 6.2L. Placed the non-official order with the dealer last week.
Today he called and said the order got accepted with no constraints and he expects it to be ready by late October... doesn't seem realistic but we'll see

I heard from my dealer today as well on my order for a basic 2021 Z71 with just panoramic roof and second row captain chairs. Ordered on July 15. Order got accepted with no constraints on August 20th and they had allocation. TPW of September 6th. I hope the COVID doesn’t postpone it further. The good thing is that they are locking in the $500 cash back or $1000 in accessories.

It is interesting. I ordered a 2021 Highcountry in May and never got picked up due to constraints, ordered a 2022 a Highcountry again completely constrained with no allocation. Put in an order for a Z71 6.2 today with ever option other than performance exhaust and no constraints and dealer has immediate allocation so we will see if it gets picked up next week.
