You might want to search led taillights on the forum there are a few and they tell you what you need to fix it, i think its a resistor that you need but im not positive you might want to look at a couple of the post, there are a few guys on here that know what you need and they know why more about the led tails then i do.

this.

If your cruise isn't working, it may just be the control arm that you set your cruise with. Even if your wipers and turn signals work, the cruise part of your arm may just be bad, and might have to replace that. And last time i checked it wasn't cheap. On my old '96 truck, my cruise wouldn't work, but everything else did. Eventually my wipers stopped working, but it was the wiper motor in the engine bay. The only way i was going to get my cruise to work again was to replace the entire control arm

Bringing back the dead horse trying to fix this...

Led tail lights= cc worked
Trans lost R 2nd & 4th= cc worked
3 months after trans lost gears= cc no work
Trans fixed= cc no work
Checked fuses= cc no work
Changed brake switch= cc no work

Cc just stopped working on me. Since it went out the cc light on the dash hasnt come on.

Is the cc light supposed to light up when in park or in drive not moving?

ok so i just recently had an issue with my CC went through everything above on my 04 Tahoe.
checked all my fuses - all good
checked for working brake lights - all good
checked brake switch - obviously good
probed TACM for good signals from the cc switches and brake - good signals.

everything i checked was good. i had my buddy hook up a tec 2 for me at his work and he pulled a DTC p1574. this code does not throw a check engine light on the dash and only can be pulled up by a tec 2.

that specific code says there is an error in the stop lamp switch circuit. so i went back and checked the signals at the TACM and found that the brake circuit showed a .2 volt reading w/o the brakes being depressed. which i guess is just enough voltage to keep the CC from fully engaging.

i then out of a hunch pulled off my trailer light adapter plug. dried it off and somehow water must have got in the circuit just enough to complete a low voltage circuit.

after all of that it started to work.

Idk if I really fixed anything but the only thing I could think of is that on the trailer light plug, water got in there and started to complete a circuit in the system causing the .2 volts to go through. Once I dried that plug off (unplugging it from the rest of the harness and letting it dry in my garage) it started to work.

Also once it dried off, there was no more voltage going through.
