i have a cpu from a 98 chevy silverado that i totaled when i first got it off the lot, BAD ACCIDENT. i have the cpu from it and wondering if it will work with my tahoe, the thing is pretty much brand new so idk what will happen if i switch them out? help me out please!

by the way my tahoe is 4x4 and it a 99 the pickup wasnt 4x4 and a 98
