Converting to Auto A/C

I just picked up a '00 Yukon and was wondering if there was a way to convert the old 5-speed climate control console to the computer-controlled auto A/C control console (15126604)? I like how that works in comparison to the shoddy 5-speed, where the resistors frequently fail and can only use 4 and 5, and nothing on 1-3. I would like to know if this is simply picking up the console itself and just updating the wiring? Or if it cannot be done at all...thanks.

would be cheaper to swap vehicles than AC

you need all new inside wiring harness, aspirator fan with wiring, BCM, etc.

Now only 5 works, 1-4 not so much, and front heat doesnt work...any thoughts? Thanks.

I would not think 00 and 04 are the same....different vehicle.
