As the title suggests (per my wife’s request), I’ve got a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LT with the standard center console and captain’s chairs up front. I’m looking into converting it to a front bench seat setup and wanted to see what my options are.
Does anyone know which front bench assemblies or donor vehicles are a direct or near-direct fit for an ’07 Tahoe? Would I need to swap out the entire floor bracket assembly, or can the existing seat mounts be modified to work? Also wondering if there are any specific trim pieces or center seatbelt anchor points I should keep an eye out for.
Any info, tips, or photos from someone who’s done the swap would be hugely appreciated!
