I'm having some trouble with a groaning sound coming from the front end when I turn in a parking lot or something like that in my 2011 gmc yukon it's usually once every couple of days I'm wondering what it could it be. It really isn't something to big on my list but it's there.

If you could record, it would be easier to decide what it is. But, sounds like could be power steering that is low on fluid. Have you checked the fluid level? It could also be somewhere on your front steering or suspension components with bushings.

That video of the noise would really help, if you can. At this point, it is just guessing.

I tell ya, I thought I heard it when you said it is the steering wheel or clock spring noise but the other faint noise sounds like dry bushings. Spray some silicone lube on sway bar links and control arm bushings or just any suspension or steering rubber and see if noise is gone. Or before that, others here may have ideas of what they hear. That squawk noise bugs me though.

I'll probably try to lube the clockspring when I fix the airbag light.
