I have a 97 tahoe 4x4 with a clunk in the front drivers side. changed the wheel bearing and sway bar end link. it only happens when i am making a left turn and the weight is off the tire. it makes a " tunk tunk tunk" sound and i feel it in the floor. checked the ball joints and tie rod and they all seem tight. the axel has minimal play in it, you can feel a little bit of play in the outter cv but not too much. Can you remove the axel and drive the truck to see if its the axel without damaging the wheel bearing. im almost at the end of my rope . any advice would be appreciated
