Well, after having our 2007 Yukon in the shop for repairs the clock no longer worked, only display the colon :)) and attempting to set time did not work. The radio, navigation, and everything else was fine. After digging around the internet I found a post uncovered a hidden access to the radio and all if its apparent workings. I only messed around with the clock because it appeared I could change all kinds of stuff, but not knowing what all could happen, I did not venture past the clock. This is my first post to this forum and I will try to post a PDF file with the steps and pictures. Note that I did not figure this out on my own but learned it from someone who posted in 2007, so credit goes to him, not me.

Thank you! I had just done some work on the truck and had batteries disconnected for about 5 hours and clock was showing this. I've been mildly frustrated that I couldn't figure it out and then saw your post. Success!

Thank you for this information. I just removed the fuse for the auto level on my 2011 Tahoe which required removing the negative battery cable. When I hooked everything back up the noisy leveler pump was now silent but the time display was too.

I'm a little OCD about looking at the time constantly as I travel quite a bit. This was a true life saver for me!!!!

Randy, thank you so much for posting this PDF on how to set the clock on a Yukon navigation radio - I have located many posts that give similar instructions however none of the ones I have seen mentioned pressing on the lower left corner IN THE TAB "DISPLAY" screen - I called GMC, I called my original dealer, I went by my local dealer where I live now, I have researched this to the point of ridiculous (more than 10 hours vested) and it cam down to being on the right screen - DISPLAY.

That one extra step, unless it is unique to the Hybrid navigation system, was the key to success - 60 seconds later I had set the clock and it's working again. GMC even told me it was a "known issue the engineers are aware of and there is no known fix at this time." Would not let me see the TSB nor offer to have anyone call me back - "go to the dealer" [pay $50 diagnostic fee + labor fee ($85/hr)] all so they can scratch their heads and tell you there is no known fix - pay here. THANKS AGAIN!

Mine did the same thing and I found the info on this forum to reset the clock "AWESOME". I really want to change some other settings in there too, but I am resisting that urge, as it does look like some pretty serious options and pretty sure it could really mess up the system if some settings are changed to be incompatible with others. Any volunteers willing to try it and post what they successfully changed??

Thank you so much. We had to do a reset on our 2008 Tahoe last month and the clock hasn't worked since. It drove me crazy. No one knew how to reset it. I'll have to give this info to my mechanic. Thanks again.

after disconnecting the radio to get some coins out my son had thrown in there I had the same issue where my radio wouldn't display the clock. so I looked at this forum and followed the instructions given thru the pdf file at the beginning and now the clock works perfect. dealership in Athens,ga and mall of GA tried to charge me $140 to do a software update on th navigation unit, the idea was mine because theres a TSB stating this specific issue, this defenetly beats doing an update on the software to fix the issue, thanks guys.

The other thread mentioned a secret screen for programming sounds just like yours sorry I’m not much help. I’ll mess with mine tomorrow and see what I can find.

I trust the PDF document and will be getting my clock back in the a.m. (when I can see) Yes, I often look at the clock while driving and it is a habit which currently will not go away. So, tomorrow a.m. all will be well with a healthy habit.

Thank you Randy for posting this. I’m the 2nd owner of a ‘07 Tahoe LTZ and the clock hasn’t worked since I’ve had it. Been racking my brain trying to figure it out from the manual. You, sir just made my day. Thank you for the decrease in my stress level!
