I’ve been wanting to do this to my Yukon, except with an Envoy airbag. Like the look better. Where did u pick up the airbag?

Which pic is which? My 01 Yukon airbag just has the letters GMC carved into it, so I'm not sure what an OE Tahoe airbag looks like

OE is just the bow tie carved like your GMC.

I did the same thing to my 2006 Denali. Kinda irritating that the denali had the same airbag as a non Denali truck. Picked up an envoy Denali airbag and redyed it.

No. It’s an Escalade steering wheel that I redyed, and painted the grips dark to somewhat match the theme of my dark carbon fiber wrapped interior pieces.

Thanks mate! The dye kit I used on this wheel came out pretty good. Not overly complicated to do just time consuming. I’m slowly getting better at that particular project lol
