Can't seem to find this exact problem with a search...
On my '95 Tahoe, the central locking switch in the door isn't working..
    • I replaced the switch
    • All locks work fine with the remote and manually.

I agree this is a good spot to look. Start with the boot going from the jamb into the door.

I'm not 100% familiar with that body style, but in addition to looking at the flex point at the door jamb as @HiHoeSilver mentions above, I would also trace the wires along under the dash. Many times in the area under the steering wheel, the harnesses get kicked/pushed/moved and end up rubbing through. I have found this to be an area of failure on the 2000-2006 vehicles. @George Owens has been dealing with a similar issue and found some frayed wires under the dash.

You can also try looking at the small kick panel under the E brake pedal, all of your locking wires run through there. Check out the12volt.com , they have pretty good info on wire colors and locations for most of the locking/door functions.

Fixed it..... I put the old switch back in and everything works perfect.... Next time I'll buy AC Delco instead of eBay junk.....

So what changed? The original switch you replaced was ok after all? Good point on oem parts.
