Center Console Lid Separating

My center console lid is starting to separate for some reason and I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before or what would a fix be for this? I have some pictures below so you can see what I am talking about.

Just need some ideas on how to fix this issue. Thanks!

I replaced mine with a Tuffy console

Do you have any pictures of the Tuffy console in your Tahoe? I'm hoping I can repair the console before having to replace the entire thing.

Anyone else have any ideas on how to fix it?

Here are pics before, during and after install....
I never had any intentions of keeping the factory console, so no idea of how to fix.
I used the factory Chevy mounting brackets to mount it both times..

I needed a place for a radio and I hate spilling drinks, so it was a no-brainer for me
