I want to put an orig back in but they are getting lot of money for them...i put an aftermarket i put in my 92..

Agreed, cassettes are dead. As are 8-Tracks. CDs are on the way out, too. ;)
But record players are still the favorite of all the hip cats.

I briefly thought about going retro, and installing my old system. For whatever reason, I still have all of my old stereo gear from 20 years ago. Pulled it out of the cars I had then.

High end Sony cassette deck, 2 10-disc CD changers, amps, etc.

Then I remembered that CD changers are a PITA, cassettes are inconvenient, and I still wouldn't have bluetooth or satellite radio. SO I went with a new Sony CD deck that has all of that stuff.

I'm trying to find a decent C1500 reg cab, so will probably put the retro stuff in that.
