well i am going to go ahead and prime my rims and grill this weekend, so i phoned the coating place in town for to see about getting new bumpers to paint and i couldnt believe what the lady told me. she said $426 for the front bumper unpainted and that would require me trading in my chrome one, $487 for the rear. i says pardon??? they want me to pay almost a grand and give them my mint chrome bumpers, i told her how bout i give $20 and ley her kick me in the balls, she laughed and said why not, hahaha so now im looking for another option
i did find a thing through google about painting the chrome so i might give it a shot

OUCH man, she was smoking some good stuff. Online those front and rear bumpers are like 200 bucks i think max. Unpainted. With no trade in. Try online, search for it on here, i cant remember who did it, wait i think its called part train or something like that. But yeah she was on the good stuff..

Demold gets my vote. I'm for the colormatching as well. Take your time, especially in the prep work and keep us updated.

and then remove all, and paint the rest... bumper, grille, rims, remove moulding..

Man, sorry to hear about your mom. Hopefully she is doing better. I know how that feels...

But no problem on the pics, im slowly learning how to use it. I would say just save up and do it all at once the right way. Maybe they will cut you a deal if you get the grille and bumper done. The mouldings and rims you can do...

But anytime man,
