Cam questons.

well since im getting new heads i want a good loope cam. but still daily drivable. what all mods would i have to make to the heads,or whatever.

get on Jegs or Summit, and start looking. Remmber, you'll need one compatibale for computer, so you'll need a tune as well.

well ill end up getting a bb tune. sooo im open to everything pretty much, ii just have a question. can you reuse the stock lifters on the new cam?

If you have roller lifters yes, if you have hydraulic flat tappets, no. Since you have a BBTune I will assume a vortec motor, those are all roller ...

I wouldn't waste my time with those rockers, I would go with a full roller setup:

Also you WILL need to change the valve seals. The stock Vortec seals won't allow the lift that the LT4 hot cam has.

Are you a 2 door or a 4 door??

They are just a roller tip. Nothing "wrong" with them ...

The Vortecs have an 11/32" guide for the seals. I ended up using Daytona 2.2 Turbo seals like everyone else ...

Just goto Autozone and ask for 1986 Dodge Daytona 2.2 Turbo valve seals ...

You may also want to think about all the gaskets too, head, intake, exhaust ...
