Buzzing sound ..

Hi,
Sometimes when I open the car's driver's door early in the morning, I hear a buzzing sound, like the sound of a bee.
I've tried to focus where it comes from but I coul not. It does not happen often. Any idea plz?

2017 Tahoe LS. It is difficult to record it because it does not happen daily ..

That is what the platform for the 2015-2020 vehicles is called. 2007-2014 is GMT900, 2000-2006 is GMT800, etc.

As mentioned, there are several items that come alive when the door is opened....
Fuel pump
Air compressor for auto level if key is on
HID light drivers, led drivers if swapped

Could be any one or a number

Where is the sound coming from...front or rear

Sometimes near the steering wheel, sometimes near the radio ...

pull the fuse for the fuel pump, let it sit a few minutes till it goes to sleep again and then open the door and see if the buzzing noise is still present.

I really don't think it's the fuel pump. The sound is coming from under the dash. And like the OP said, it's super random, it's not very consistent at all.

Then I don't know there are lots of things that handshake in the k2xx platform when you open the door and start it

Yea its a very obvious out of the norm kinda buzz. And it's so random

unlike on the gmt/800/900 where you have to turn the key to at least accessory to get anything to work, the k2xx wakes up all kinds of stuff when you open the door or even unlock it. radio, fuel pump, cluster, blue tooth, wifi, usb and who knows what else
If I am playing music over bluetooth and shut it off and run in the store real quick and come back out sometimes when i open the door the radio will start playing bluetooth music again without the key even going in the ignition.

Yea I've also noticed CarPlay pops up on the screen but won't open. I have to unplug it several times
