Morning:
Had to replace the lock actuator on my 09 tahoe last night, passenger side
(pulled one out of a silverado at the local yard...scored for $30! )

When I removed the door card, I apparently wasn't careful enough and broke the rectangular clip just below the lock plunger (?)
Now I have a gap there when I reinstall the door card.
It's also causing the lock to drag from mis-alignment

I can run to the yard & get one from the silverado door panel.
Has anyone fixed this? Will JB Weld hold if I drill out the old plastic welds, or will I need a couple screws also?

I checked on YT and it a couple vids showed the same clip being broken:

based on the photo I would remove the broken off piece from the door and use a couple screws to put it back on the door panel and put the door panel back on. based on looks above I see no reason why that would not work.

Epoxy has been holding my interior door pull, so I think it would work well for the door panel. Looks like some good edges to get a good grip.
