Broken Mirror?

Attaching 3 pics . The first one is the chrome which appears to be separated, the second is holding it down as far as it'll go. And the third is my driver side which seems to be fine.

First time I've noticed this. My concern is that while trying to hold it down it doesn't go back to the same position as my passenger side mirror Chrome does.

There are several clips on that chrome cover. Look up some vids on removing and installing them and try to reseat it properly.

They're cheap stick-on chrome covers and the one is coming off of the black painted cover under it. Take them off and trash them, body color looks way better.

You're right, didn't catch that! Didn't know such a thing was made.

I like the body colored too but came across a deal on chrome ones so chrome it is for the next few years.

If you decide you like the chrome, you can get the pieces to replace the black ones. I traded a friend my chrome caps for the black textured ones on his Sierra so I could sand and paint 'em. I also gave him two of my chrome door handles since I swapped mine for color-matched. Look for YT vids or something before you try to remove the caps. They're really secure and there's a specific order of "unclipping" to remove them without breaking the tabs.
