My truck came frome the factory with 20's it's newer then the vehicle this thread was started for but. I have done the brake upgrade on it and have 4 pot camaro ss calipers on the rear. My front rotors that are for a 2019+ are 13.5 and my rear rotors are 13.5.

The inside space on the wheel is 16" at the center, the disk in question is 13"... The 2020 front rotor isnt 13.5 its 13 same as our backs, it might be a smidge over because its some mm number but when I specifically looked it up in inches they round them to 13"

*My whole hand slides between the slider caliper and the wheel in the back*

Youre telling me the fixed caliper will rub in that space?

Or am I messing up somebodies con they ran on the wife for why they had to donkify their truck "for safety" lol

I use it offroad any benefit of better brakes is immediately degraded by turning it into a hotboy takeover heap...

Literally there are entire discussions on this topic

Youre trying to argue about things I already know for facts

Why?

We should ban donk wheels on trucks if its a car drive a car you dont need a truck to drive on pavement lol...

No vehicle needs wheels larger than 22" sans heavy equipment lol...
2019+ rotors are infact 13.5.
Best you just let that one marinate.

Sorry on the 13.5 mistake, still, THEY FIT 17S

They actually DONT FIT LOTS OF 20s... WITHOUT A SPACER

BECAUSE THE FACE IS THE ENTIRE ISSUE

LIKE I SAID

STOP LYING TO PEOPLE

YOU NEED EITHER AN OEM WHEEL WITH THE OFFSET FOR FIXED CALIPERS OR AFTERMARKET WHEELS FOR FIXED CALIPERS THIS IS A PROBLEM ON ANY FING PLATFORM WHEN YOU HAVE FIXED VERSUS SLIDER CALIPERS AND YOU WOULD KNOW THAT IF YOU KNEW LITERALLY ANYTHING ABOUT BRAKE UPGRADES ON ANY VEHICLE PERIOD

SO AGAIN, STOP LYING TO PEOPLE

IF YOU ARE STUPID YOU CAN BE STUPID QUIETLY WITHOUT SPREADING DISINFORMATION

IM SICK OF IT IN THIS SCENE

WE ARE LIVING IN FACTS WORLD

Nothing Ive said will mess anyone up (idk how youd get the wrong rotors lol) but telling people 20s fit and 17s don't is BLANKETLY WRONG

if *anything* "OEM wheels usually need a spacer and aftermarket wheels, especially wides, usually do not" would be the right from the hip poor answer

This cult of donk wheel shit is fcking stupid... And Im sick of that too...

Show me any offroad racing class where they run the dub show

Guess yall gotta get your iggy azalea on...

For ½" of rotor, an alternative to shimming the calipers for the rotors would be to oval the holes in the calipers by ½" and run NNBS 13" rotors with no shims... Lol... If you were big froofroo about it you could fill the half moons in the holes with JB weld and machine them back down lol... Basically... ½" is way within the realm of dialing in a caliper to another rotor lol

You children obviously havent done anything but easy street lego kinex car modding... "It wont bolt right on without modifying it"

Is there a secret GMT800 group for real car guys or is this a dead platform lol

You put camaro ss, iirc brembo rears with stock truck front calipers?

Those zr1 fronts that match that rear kit are ridiculous, tho that rear kit would actually fit under a 17" from the look of it...

I was thinking the k2x front caliper in the back with a ppv caliper in the front because... Minimal Brembo tax

Otherwise you can literally just run the escalade V brembos, they appear to essentially match that kit you mentioned but with nothing custom and cheaper calipers

The Corvette brake kit looks very bling to me

Like its one step short of willwoods lol

personally I want fixed calipers on 13.5/13" rotors...

If I develop something Idk if anyone else would even be interested because the first thing a highschool boy does with pawpaws hand me down truck is bolt the biggest f'ing wheels his tacobell check can afford from Facebook marketplace on it... Trust me I get the logic driving this entire community smh

I have better rotors than stock on the rear but they are the correct rear rotors, not front rotors on the back. And at the beginning of this thread i clearly stated the use of oem wheels from 19+ pickup or 2020+ tahoe &suburban was required or aftermarket with the correct offset. And yes on the rear with the camaro ss rear calipers 17's will clear there's miles of room on the back. My factory 20's clear the T1 generation 4 pot calipers. I don't buy aftermarket wheels anymore because I spend the money on other improvements. And I'm ******* aluminum wheels and usually end up running PPV wheels on my work/daily driver. So if I switched to the PPV 6 pot calipers up front I still won't have a clearance issue.

To be clear as I mentioned above my truck is newer than the gmt800. I was just offering up what I experienced in doing the brake system change using the parts that will fit.

Well at this point Ive discovered the h2 uses the gmt820 tahoe front caliper on the rear with the same 13" rotor.

I had been considering an 8lug swap heavily already because 14bolt and tougher wheel bearings and just all around tougher...

Im not actually racing it yet but what Im shooting for is somwhere between a budget BITD Prerunner build and Tough Truck at this point...

If I go to an H2 axle and front knuckles, the 80s chevy truck 2500 front disk is a 13.5 that will shim to the 2021 4pot and then I just have to find a 13.5" rotor with a parking brake drum in 8lug for the rears, Im thinking gmt900 2500 rears off-hand, IIRC?

That would then give me literally the biggest bolt on combination of brakes that would fit inside oem 17" wheels?

And tons of guys sell beadlock modified h2 wheels...

And the h2 14bolt has an e-locker I can hotwire to a switch...
