Hi,
I've seen a few posts on this issue but no real resolution. The red brake warning light stays on dimly (05 Yukon XL) even when the vehicle is shut off. Mechanic suggested I pull the aftermarket radio, which I did. No Joy. Disconnected the trailer brake controller, also the battery, same. He checked the system and parking brakes, also nothing. The power to the brake system is off when the key is out. I've seen posts that it could be a bad instrument cluster. Anyone have this fix the problem? I'd like to have more evidence before popping $300+ or worse, going to a dealer...
