My 2002 Yukon has been having intermittent issues with several systems that are common to the BCM; in the event that it needs replacing are there any special steps required to program it (ie RKE, security) or is it just a swap out job?

I think there's a re-learning procedure? I think if you get VATS deleted from your ECM, it's just plug-n-play.
