My blower motor on my 03 Tahoe went out about 2 weeks ago after working perfectly fine. I took a look and found that the wires to the blower motor have melted off and the resistor was horribly corroded. I replaced both and turned the fan on and got nothing. However I felt the resistor getting hot pretty quickly, so I disconnected everything right away.
Do anybody have any ideas of what may be causing this problem?
