Well i pulled the trigger last week and got a tune, well i got my pcm back today and wow what a difference it made, its so much smoother and im actually having a hard time keeping it on the road in the rain now haha, of course stupid me i have a full tank of 87 and i got the 93 octane tune so we will see if its any better once i get the right gas in it, just wanted to share cause im pretty excited about my truck now, its really fun to drive now

allows mainly for more advancement in timing by computer but without engine knock that would retard it.

If you switch to super unleaded unplug your pcm for a minute or two and it will relearn the variances in fuel and timing mapping to account for the difference in fuel type. You should get a little benefit from it even without a tune.

what do u mean by advancement in timing? what all can a BBT do?

A bbt can change a lot more. advancing the ignition timing.
