Best Spark Plugs?

Another vote here for AC Delco.

ACDELCO 2nd choice would be ngk. But every gm ive owned has had delco iridium plugs.

To add to this; I've been told several times that these engines can be temperamental when non-OEM parts are used.

A little birdie once told me that some Delco plugs are rebranded NGK's.

just got my delco's from rock auto. and for about half price of what the local parts places wanted.

They're the best. No sales tax for me in CA and they always have a 5 percent coupon floating around on the interwebs.

use the ac delco's but check them carefully before you leave the store. I did mine this weekend, 1 cracked straight out of the box, another there was something not quite right with the cap. It wouldnt seat the spark plug wire quite right. They replaced them right away but kinda a pain in the ass to go back twice

I've used AC Delco 41-110s but have also heard the NGK 4177/TR6s are also a good option.

You use the iridium above and don't touch the gap

From my old car work that seems stupid but it is how it's done with modern cars

I usually check them and keep them close to .40

Just ordered a set. Do you advise changing the coil wires as well? I do have the p301 code. And a little rough idle with minor cutting.
