Been looking at 09 LTZ white diamond with MSRP of around 55K and can only seem to get any dealers about 8K off list, is this about right? I was thinking more like 10 to 11K off at least!

I got $8k off on my Yukon Denali. $11-14k was common when gas prices were $4-5 a gallon or for heavily used demos.

Man, just thought maybe 10 or 11k off, never thought I'd pay 46k for a vehicle. Any "extra" discounts I maybe missing? What do you guys pay over invoice?

Yes you can, and I will PM you.

Are you in the NSA lol. Point of the forum is to share info with the rest of us.
Get a couple E quotes from different dealers then take them to your place and see what's what. With at least three deals on the table you are bound to get the discounts available. There are sites you can google to find the lists of applicable rebates.

I hear you on paying that much for a vehicle but it is what it is.. I remember 11years ago when a Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited was over 40k thinking this is crazy but look where we are today. Hell Hyundai's are high teens high 20's for a Sonata that just 6 years ago topped out at 17k.

Nah, but I hate getting into pissing contests with random trolls who don't understand math (like the last thread).

I'll just say that he can easily get more than $10k off MSRP.

Hell, I got $7k off MSRP PLUS 0% for 72 mos. financing the ENTIRE TAHOE.

In other words, I got about $3115 below SUPPLIER, which SUPPLIER is ALREADY $400 or so below invoice, PLUS got the rate (in lieu of rebates) which is "worth what it is worth" to a person based on their situation and understanding of finance and moving money. In a simple amortization the rate is worth about $9-10k. Like I say, true value will vary based on the above factors.

And, yes, play dealers off each other.

P.S. This was a month ago. As an example, my muffler was made on 9/12/09 in Missouri (was just under there). The Tahoe was new stock, hot off the truck, 6 miles, plastic still on.
