I'm having issues with current draw killing my battery and my cluster is suspect. I'm just going to go ahead and send it in for repair/rework since I have at least one light out and I'd like to see about adding a trans temp gauge.

Who does the best work? My coworker used an person on eBay. Thanks!

This place (https://www.fixmygauges.com/) will sell you a full replacement instrument cluster made to your liking, and I think he (Carl) will give some kind of warranty extension if you send yours in after it's been replaced with his updated one. He *was* in the repair business and he did a fine job on mine, adding the trans gauge and LEDs, and all replacement stepper motors, but no longer does repairs, just offers replacements. @OR VietVet may have a comment.

For repair: https://usdashworks.com/ (I'm not sure if this company is related to Carl or not, but since Carl recommends them, I'd use them in a heartbeat.)

Eric O at South Main Auto (on YouTube) uses something like United Radio but I'm not sure I've ever seen the specific link for that. I'll see if he has one in his video descriptions. [EDIT: United Radio is in Syracuse NY at https://www.unitedradio.com/industries-we-serve/automotive/]

Many times the IPC parasitic draw is caused by 'silver migration' and you can search for that. It's easy enough to clean the circuit board yourself and that could probably fix the draw issue.

The fixmygauges, alias Digital Dash Solutions, is great. If you send your old cluster back in, they give you a lifetime warranty. They even send you the return container and return sticker annd you just drop at a UPS or Fed Ex, I think.
