What's the best muffler for 15 Tahoe with no cabin drone. If you have sound clips would love them. Also did you delete the resonator?

MagnaFlow 12259. Keep the resonator but delete the flapper. I paid $90 from amazon and sounds great with no drone.

Why should I keep the resonator ? Do you have a sound clip of it on your truck ? What's the process on deleting the flapper ?

Sorry don't have any sound clips but I'm sure you can find some already on the form. Any muffler shop will know what your flapper is and wont have any issues deleting it. The entire install shouldn't cost any more then $100.

Here's your flapper. They just cut and weld a new piece in.

I just added the magnaflow 12259 to my 2018 Suburban 5.3. Left the flapper on and resonator. Sounds is just right for me. Slight increase in db and lower rumble. No with that being said, I think there is a drone/pressure pounding around 55mps, then goes away. Highway speeds of 70-80 the sound is a little bit louder than all other speeds but still enjoy it.

I also installed a magnaflow 12259 muffler based on your recommendation. Left flapper and resonator on. Love the new sound. Not obnoxious still works for the family car.

Only down side I found was the tone is very low, nice but at certain speeds the lower tone may cause some droning but very small and very small RPM/speed range so.... but ALSO I cannot get my dual tip exhaust tip in the position I want due to the resonator in the stock location.

I am about to relocate the resonator under the body of the vehicle but my exhaust guy warned me that it will change the tone and db's of the sound. Nothing drastic but just wanted to warn me. I havent pulled the trigger on that mod yet but....

Just an update, I added new tips and removed the resonator. LOVE IT more than before. I was in fear the removal of resonator was going to increase the overall db and it was going to be too much but in fact the db increase was very minimal but the throaty tone increase to a meaner tone and in fact the cruising speed sound decreased.

I would recommend attempting to delete the resonator and experience the magnflow solo
