Best CAI

Looking to get one soon, just wanted some opinions on the best one out there for your buck??? 02 Tahoe 5.3 thanks

I have a Spectre CAI cost about 150 but worth it I think. Looks good and half the cost of most out there.

I have also heard the air raid jr. Is well worth the money

dont need a CAI, just remove airbox, intake tube and attacth the MAF directly to your throttle body with a coupler. win win

Beware of the dreaded airaid jr intake tube popping off. It's happened to a bunch of people on here... myself included.

I got mine on autozone, just searched coupon codes and found one for 20% off with free shipping if you paid via paypal.

I would never classify a cai as making a huge difference in performance or mpgs. I like mine and feel like I have a better sounds and possibly increased mpgs but don't have anything scientific to base that statement on.

I only say huge difference in that my duramax dump truck (It's like driving a sheet of plywood down the road) went from 10-11 mpg up to 13-14. When one simple add on can reduce your fuel bill by 10%....that's huge.
