I just bought my first Tahoe a 2008 Ltz one owner. It has a few miles about 197k but almost perfect inside and out except for the notorious cracked desk. The 5.3 is quite and strong and it shifts perfect. The 2 wd suspension is a little rough and bouncy with the usual warning on it and steering feels a little loose so I will be checking in to find out what has worked best for all of you so thanks in advance!

Your mileage at 197K is not too bad. I have 212K and still go on long trips.

Alot of friendly people in Tennessee. Been to Nashville and Gatlinburg. Plan on going to Memphis in the next 6-12 months.
