BCM reverse signal wire?

Trying to connect my back up camera. Which wire do I splice into, to signal my headunit to turn on the camera? IIRC its purple or something?

You can catch this signal at the a-pillar in the rearview mirror harness. Light green wire, pin 9 with Onstar/compass mirror. Pin 3, light green on standard mirror.
