I checked the battery voltage today after my Yukon had sat unstarted for 48 hours. It was a not good 11.4 volts, meaning I'll be buying a new battery this week.

I drove the Yukon on some errands today and monitored the voltage for the trip. Once warmed up, it never got above 12.9 volts, another indicator of a weak battery. I'll have a new battery tomorrow.
I've ordered a 200 amp alternator as well, and will install a heavier gauge alternator to battery cable tool

Installed a new battery this morning, engine off voltage is now 12.8 volts. Better, but still lower than I like. Next is a new alternator and an upsized alternator to battery cable.

What was the voltage directly at the alternator post when running?
