Hi everyone. Maybe someone can provide some insight on this. Recently I took a 1 1/2 hr drive with 8 people in the truck and when I got home, it smelled like burned rubber on the driver side rear. Not sure what that means, if that's normal or the shocks or compressor are on its way out. I did hear the compressor running fine afterwards, just concerned if either are going bad.
Now, I want to drop my truck but want to go with a 4/5 drop with autoride or 4/6 and eliminate autoride. If the air system is crapping and I go with 4/6, how is the ride if I have the same amount of people in the truck and would it sag? I'm not gonna be doing any towing but will be using air bag helpers.
