Hey guys...my steering is ALL over the place. VERY sloppy. I was all over the road on the highway doing 65-70 mph (pretty light winds too).
Does anyone know of a good front steering/suspension kit (maufacturer and part number or link) that includes the inner and outer tie rods, idler arm, pitman arm, and anything else needed?
Something like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/BALL-JOINT-...Parts_Accessories&vxp=mtr&hash=item519898efe5
Thanks for the advice...I really appreciate it.

i would buy everything separate and not on ebay unless its moog. Those parts probably will not last long and you would waste your time and money with an alignment and all that other crap

I usually do my shopping for auto parts through Rockauto.com So far this past week I've spent quite a few bucks ordering moog suspension components.

Moog parts only from rockauto or Amazon. And while you are at it get a nudging kit from energy suspension.

Thanks a lot for the help...I'll stick with Moog. Does rockauto have a whole kit, or do I need to order separately?
What is a nudging kit, and what does it do?
Thanks again!!

OK...now I am a bit confused...Rockauto has this as an idler arm from Acdelco:
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=355490
AND it has this from Moog:
http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/moreinfo.php?pk=203018
They look totally different from one another. I am totally ignorant when it comes to steering parts, or what is needed.
So which one do I need...or do I need both?
Thanks for the help...I just don't want to purchase the wrong parts.
BTW...this is the only Moog part form rockauto for idler arms that I saw.
Thanks again!

The AC Delco picture is the idler arm bracket; the Moog picture is the idler arm.

Here's a full front end rebuild kit - http://www.performancesuspension.com/front-end-rebuild-kits.html

As others have stated above, MOOG replacement parts are by far the best way to go - cost a little more, but quality is definitely there and they last longer. I highly recommend the poly bushings over the rubber ones - far better handling. Just lube them very well when installing.

Thanks so much....however, I went to the site above, and they do not have any products for the 1999 Tahoe. :(

"Graphite Polyurethane Front End Rebuild Kit 1999 TAHOE CHEVROLET
There are no products to list in this category."

Do I just have to call?
Thanks

You can certainly give it a shot - come to think of it, I believe I called them when I ordered mine years ago. It's been several years since I ordered my kit from them and I have since replaced some components (pitman and idler arms most notably, but the poly bushings are still doing their thing).
