Anyone have a good how-to on removing the plastic shroud at the rearview mirror/windshield?

Hey all,

I'm looking to hard-wire my V1 into the rearview mirror on my '23 Denali, but I haven't yet seen a good write-up (or pics?) on how to access the wiring behind the mirror via the plastic shrouding against the windshield. I recall the shrouding never being the same after I pulled it away on my '09. So, I'm trying to avoid F'ing things up on my '23.
