Anyone have a crooked exhaust - 6.2l?

Noticed this from day one. I’ve seen this on a few other 2022’s. What’s up with the left side protruding about an inch more than the right side? Anything that can be done to remedy this? It looks ridiculous.

Ours is a little off but not that bad.

I had a 23 suburban like that. I took it to a dealer to make sure there were no safety issues. Ie melting the bumper. There were none. I think they said the weld was off. Didn’t affect the truck, didn’t care, moved on.

Ours is a little off as well. Maybe a half inch. I never noticed it until this post. For me, no big deal, but I do understand the frustration of a detail like this being "off".

Mine is off about the same. Can't tell from either side unless you're really looking for it so I just ignore it.

Brand new '25 Denali ultimate with crooked exhaust. Driver side is considerably lower and passenger side and a complete different angle.

I’ve also noticed this on many new tahoes, Yukons, and Escalades. Crazy that they’re crooked.

I also have noticed several trucks with their emblems also not straight…..

If it was me I’d go under there myself and adjust them. OEM exhaust should just have clamps you can loosen and adjust the pipes.

Nope haven't seen exhaust clamps on anything OE for 20+ years unless you count the headpipe which is just a ball clamp. No adjustment there. This has been an "issue" since MY21. It's not as noticeable on the trucks because of the exhaust bezel. My guess is the tubing expands/contracts with a lot of variance due to stressed from bending and heat from welding.

I have a 2015 Tahoe so didn’t know. I do know that my 2022 challenger has clamps on the exhaust tips as well as on the x-pipe. And that’s OEM.

so..... you swing by a muffler shop slip the guy a $20. he makes a cut and makes a weld and you take your happy butt down the road all fixed up.
