Any chance of squeezing an 8" navigation into a 2001-2006 Yukon?

There are some 8" Navigation units that fit into double DIN slots but with a bigger front. Any chance of squeezing one into an 2001-2006 Yukon?

My guess is no, but there is some room to play with between a standard double din nav unit and the fascia plastic, so the only way to know would be a test fit.

Also, judging by the size of that monster, you'll need to cut out the plastic pieces in the back of the head unit cavity.

my pioneer with a 7" screen was a pain in the ass to retrofit..you would have quite a bit of work im guessing

for tahoes 06 and up im pretty sure they make double din kits so it would be simple to put a double din in a 06 and up model
for your year model they didnt thats why you had to custom fit it

well 99-02 is single din, then 03 and up is double...I still think it may be hard to make a 8" fit even in the 03-06, but i may be wrong..
