I found a deal I couldn't refuse...
And added a Green 2003 Z71 4x4 to go with my 2005 Bermuda Blue 4x4.
1000041870.png

The good
Paint in great condition, on dog ear and a little pitting over the rear fender flares
Krowned yearly since new.
Dealer maintained with records.
New Crate 5.3 70,000km/45,000miles
New transfer case and transmission in the last 90,000km.
Frame is in mint condition.
It has 6XM and 7XM torsion bars, snow plow prep and 2nd row buckets

The bad
Trans cooler failed, the 4L60 transmission over heated and lost reverse...
Tan interior.... But it might grow on me.

Not sure what the plan is.. but I don't know that I need 2 Suburbans...

Most people seem to think that XM torsion bars are the stiffest ones that the GMT800-1500 suvs can use, including the PPV/SSV, & Avalanche 1500.
Been trying to find out if my Tahoe Z71 can utilize stiffer GM torsion bars ...

My Z71 specs FK2 & FK3 'torsion bar arm spring adjusters'. May I ask which yours uses?
Also, what kind of snow plow prep?

Finally, which axle gears? Mine has GT4 / 3.73 (want 4.10).
If you don't need 2 Suburbans, keep the bubba with the better axle gears.

My old Suburban is a 4.10 and the new green one is 3.73.
The old one has traction control, dual batteries, 40k trans cooler and hydro boost brakes... I'd love those features on my new one with the better body and mint frame.
I have been half thinking about making one and parting out the rest...

My foot and better tires ARE the traction control. The rest is pretty cool though.
That's a pretty good idea, you ought to seriously consider it.
Bet the 4.10 Suburban gets better MpGs ...

I'm very seriously considering it... But I might need a third one to drive while I combine these two :)

I really wish there were 2dr tahoes in the gmt800 line up
