Another heater issue

so ive read through most of the heater issue threads on here and havent found my exact issue so here it is...whenever i turn on the heat after warming up the truck the temp never gets past slightly warm, ive leat run for 5min at one time and it never gets hot but whenever i start to drive the truck around for 5mins it gets hot. what could be causing this to happen and how can I fix it myself?

could be a air pocket stuck in your system somewhere.

nt sure how ac/heat wrks but i didnt know that the coolant affected the heat. thanks ill recharge to see if it helps since i already have the recharge kit

Recharge kit for the coolant? Not sure what you are talking about but all you need is some coolant if it's low! You get heat from coolant passing through your heater core which is in a compartment with your HVAC fan, if the coolant is low, it won't circulate through your heater core well until you step on the gas which makes your water pump work faster which circulates the coolant faster!
Just check the coolant reservoir and see if it needs coolant and report back!
