I solved my own issue here, but I thought I'd post the story incase it may help someone else in the future. I was doing a regular oil change today on a warm summer day. Condensate water was streaming down where it usually does. When I was swinging the lift arm under the car, the water hit my arm. It was HOT! Condensate water is supposed to be cold, not hot. It wasn't warm it was hot. I was fearing it was a heater core leak, but then I turned off the A/C and cranked the heat to 90. The water stopped, so it's not the heater core, Yeah!!! Long story short, this Tahoe has rear heat. The condensate drain dumps its water on the metal heater lines that run to the back and it runs down these metal lines before it drops to the ground. These hot heater pipes heat the water is it runs down them causing hot condensate water, so no issue after all. What a relief!
