Ambient Light Sensor

The light sensor fell out of its case, only the tinted case is still in the dash, I want to put it back in.. Got the radio out and can reach but cannot twist the sensor back in place HELP!...

You will have to take the top of the dash off. Its actually pretty easy. I replaced my sensor when it went out about a year ago. It only took me about 30 mins start to finish, including the picking up all my tools and stuff. Heres a link with detailed instructions.

Where did you buy your replacement Ambient Light sensor?

Nevermind. Found it on GMpartsdirect. But for $12 shipping I'll go pay full price at the dealer!BH

I got my sensor at a local dealer for 14 bucks with tax.
