All molding removed

Removed all molding this weekend. Think it look much better.

I like the look of demolding the truck, I'm just worried about idiots slamming their car door into mine.

I have a dent in the rear i have to get fixed. You can see it in the pic. In the rear by the bumper. need to find the dent doctor. Im thinking about removing step and putting on a chrome nerf bar.

Looks good! i say take the stripe off with the window guard things and it would look way cleaner

yeah, they are textured. Not sure what i am going to do with them yet.

I like the look of demolding the truck, I'm just worried about idiots slamming their car door into mine.

From my experience with door-dingnorants the other door would need substantial force to cause visible damage... and that was on both my NBS Silverado and also the NNBS Yukon. Sucked experiencing both close calls but I was impressed!

How do u remove the the molding? I got a black 01 and i want to debadge and demold

used fishing line. its just double side tape holding it on.

this is one thing i was wondering about for my 01 Yukon. my molding in the rear drivers side is warping and falling off. any tricks to not peel the paint? Also, was the paint underneath in good shape (same color as rest)? urs looks good so giving me some confidence in getting rid of mine all around. door chrome is starting to peal too, gotta love this Florida sun!

I used my finger and got a blister but my buddy found a wheel that you put on a drill and it will remove the double sided tape. He bought it at a Auto Zone or some place like that.

i do really like the de molded look but im not sure how my fender flares would look without it, dont really want to loose the flares

I've heard guys on here say they used 3M erase wheel to take it off. Search the threads and I'm sure you'll find it
