Alarm/Car starter causing electrical problems

I'm having a problem with my 95 tahoe. The po had what appears to be a Hornet car alarm and possibly a remote starter installed on the vehicle. I've already had a problem with my door locks not working and my turn signals. After pulling on the wires of the control box under the dash everything kicks back on and works. Anyway, I would love to have this whole thing removed from the truck, I don't have the key fob for it anyway so it's kinda pointless to have it there. Anyone ever remove one, I'm a little hesitant to remove myself there's about 300 wires going every which way under the dash.
