But an enclosed filter is better than an open filter. I like the SLP.

Awesome mod, huh?

Doesn't look as mean with the hood open as the full CAI but has a cool sound(not obnoxious) and looks pretty stock from above.Certainly has a cool sound,like an old school 4bbl when you get on it....
I see a B.B tune in my future, a work in progress...
I am sure it is taking in all the air it needs or can use without excessive noise,that is all I am after . It is just a truck afterall......
