Air bag indicator

Hello all

Does anyone know if there's a air bag indicator on dash?? I recently had a va state inspection and failed for front crash sensor needs replacing minor issue. Then the shop says the indicator for the air bag doesn't light up when starting truck and I need a whole new cluster from the dealer in order to pass inspection .

There is an indicator light in the cluster. It generally blinks X amount of times at startup which signals the system is OK. Its possible the light is bad, you could physically take the cluster out and apart to see if it is. Should be a somewhat easy fix, rather than a new cluster. Stupid Virginia.

Wow... I doubt our inspectors even look for that kind of stuff lol.

I would check the light as well first. Then go from there
