Is anyone running one in a 96 and up?

Alot of People Complain for the 4L60E that came in our Hoes. Alot of people who are serious in HP aka some sort of Forced Induction, Heavy Juice, and/or Heavy Track Duty and off roading opted for 4L80e from suburbans.

i've got a beefed up 4L60 in mine. extreme torque package, vette servos, all sorts of shit.

when the engine goes i hope to swap out to a 4L80 and a 14 bolt SF rear end to match up to whatever engine goes back in it.

4L60 gets a bad rap many times. They just as anything else can be "beefed up".

I have a bone stock 4L60 and so far no problems. 96ProCompTahoe, I would try to keep the tranny you have and IF it fails then upgrade. You already spent the money, why not at least break it first

I'm running a FLT Level 4 4L60E for 26K miles with now problems so far.

Their Mega-Raptor will support 700hp and has a TQ rating of 700....I think I read on this page you can switch down in any gear at any speed...that sounds nugn futs to me
