Advice on purchasing a used 2003 with 100k miles

Hello I am in the process of looking for a car and found one that looks good and has had alot of work done to it. My question is should i see that as a good thing or bad thing. Below is all the things that have been done. The car has about 100k and is a 2003. Just curious if its something i should consider or move on. Thanks in advance

Things that have been done.
Radiator replaced and clean coolant
New air filter
New crank sensor
All new spark plugs and wires
New rotor cap
Fresh oil and filter
Oil pan gasket replaced
Fresh transmission fluid and filter
Transmission oil pan gasket replaced

also mentioned one issue
After the crank sensor was replaced mechanic showed it taking an extra crank on cold start, believed to be the fuel draining back into the tank slowly by the
check valve

...it would help to state what specific vehicle (a car, you say?) this is...you posted in the 2000-2006 sub-forum, but none of those have a distributor... GMT 800 SUVs, I mean.

at any rate 100k for a 03 is low mileage, for gmt800 anyway should have plenty of life left, unless it's from the rust bucket zone

Ok, gotcha.

I mean, a lot of those items are regular maintenance items. Since the oil pan was replaced, I'd look closely at the rear main seal. Those tend to leak with high mileage and age and replacement is time consuming. Usually the oil pan gets replaced as first suspect.

But that mileage is very low, in my opinion. Plenty of GMT800s are now in the 200k-300k+ range and still driving.

My general assumption is: if the body/interior looks clean, the vehicle was more likely serviced. SUVs usually live a better life and get serviced better (family haulers) vs trucks, which a lot wind up as work trucks. Usually.

Also, how much are they asking for it? If it’s $2000 and runs & drives that’s a steal! Especially if it is 4x4… but if they are asking $25k then I would say you have a lot more options at that price.

Price is 3800 it has rocker panel rust but frame is solid. I also i guess my question is more of a survey lol. From what i am getting from the responses its worth a look

How bad is the rust? Rusted out or just surface? In most cases the rust starts on the inside and works its way to the exterior so if it is just surface rust it won't be long til it's rusted through.

Just me but I'd take a 200k mile without rust then 100k with even some rust. 99% of the time there is more rust behind what you see.

Definitely worth a look, as stated above 100k miles is low for the life of these trucks. Thoroughly inspect for significant rust.

Lay underneath the Tahoe.... get a real GOOD flashlight..... Take your time and inspect it for rust and all the other stuff ...... If your view with your flashlight, makes you worry, than run away. Then look around the engine bay....

^ this, all the rust is going to present it's self from under the vehicle, where some people never bother to look
I wouldn't even bat a eye a rust state vehicle, not worth the problems.

must suck, I can show you 30-40 year old vehicles in the junkyards here, no rust. they have to be pretty ratty to be rusted, like no paint. etc
why more people don't buy them here and just drive them back or have them delivered is beyond me.

In Arizona.... The areas, near Hwy 93 & hwy 68. ( just NW of I-40.... ( an hour & a half, south, from Hoover Damn ) This area is a GOLD MINE, for '60's, '70's muscle cars, for restoring...
We got a '68 El Camino - , '70 El Camino ss 396 w/ bucket seats, .. I saw everyhting out there on these side roads..... No rust...

What state is this in? I'm in Colorado and am looking at a 04 Yukon with 273,000 for $3900.

Side note: Would any of you guys buy one with 273K on it? Lots of service records, things were replaced as needed. No visible leaks from looking under it. Pretty clean. That mileage kind of scares me. It ran really smooth and drove nice.
