As a newbie Yukon owner I'm wondering if there is definition of terms somewhere on this site to help me understand the history of these vehicles? I see references to OBS, NBS, NNBS, etc. (there are probably others) and I could use some help understanding the references. Appreciate your patience.

OBS - Old Body Style GMT-400 (1991-1999)
NBS - New Body Style GMT-800 (2000-2006)
NNBS - New New Body Style GMT-900 (2007-2014)

Can also be seen abbreviated as N3BS and N4BS, respectively.

But that's not as absurd as piling on the "N"s.

Mine would be an "N2BS", which sounds like hack speak that I'm "into ********", which I am not unless it is on my terms.

Thanks Wade, that was the link I was looking for - and thanks for the clarifications on my examples. I now understand where folks are coming from when they use these terms. OBS GMT-430 Owner.
