Just wanted to make a post to help anyone get a straight answer quicker than I did. Woke up (first snowfall of the year of course) and my Ac/Heat wouldn’t blow any air at all anymore. Blower Motor Resistor seemed like the quickest fix to try to get it back, as I had a roadtrip. When buying a new blower motor resistor now, I’m told GM updated the resistors / wiring. So I had a 3 pin plug, and the new ones are 5 pin plugs. Was skeptical when the guy at O’Rileys told me, but I confirmed with my local GM dealers, you need to buy that new one that doesn’t look like it will fit, and they have 3 wires coming off of the new harness that need to be wired into the original harness. If your like me and superr unlucky and you do this, but then the AC only blows at max and continues to blow while the car is off, you got a bad blower motor resistor lol. After the 2nd Resistor and wiring the harness in, all is well now!
