I have a 2012 GMC Yukon Denali with the (Z55),(6YA),(7YA) in the glove box I need to know the part numbers for AC DELCO front and rear shocks/struts I got part numbers from the GMC dealership but I'm not sure about cross referencing the part numbers? The numbers they gave me are19420493 for the front and19368461 for the rear. Please help? I already ordered the wrong rear shocks once...

Welcome to the Forum from NH.

Lots of knowledgeable folks here who freely share their knowledge, experiences, and perspectives. Knowledge is power.

I hope that you will become a participating member in the Forum's discussions.

To be sure of the correct part number, please post the last 8 digits of your VIN, and @915_Tahoe may be able to provide you with the correct part numbers.

A review of RockAuto.com, where many folks here source their original GM or ACDelco parts, displays the parts that you need, and you can reference by using the (Z55),(6YA),(7YA) RPO codes.

From what I see above, and assuming that you have AWD, your front shock part number is 19240493, and the rear shock part number is 5801095. Hopefully, @915_Tahoe can confirm or update.

There is a permanent label on each shock that has the part number. I snapped a pic of the labels on both of my trucks, front and rear, and ordered that way. There were different part numbers for the 2007 and 2012 vintages. Perfect fit in both cases.

580-1093 is 19368461

580-434 should be 19420493, 90% sure.

Note, especially for the rear shocks, both numbers are printed on the box, it's the same part.

these are the ones I used on my 2012, you can replace just the shock-strut portion of the front that is the only part that wears out. lifetime warranty from rockauto

My 2012 took the 580-434 struts (different suspension code)

i didn't even go by that I got the number off the strut and cross referenced it on the rockauto website and picked one. it matched up with about 20 struts I don't think it makes any difference as you can see in your photo 1 strut matches up to 20 codes (technically 10 codes left/right). it's ridiculous

yeah when I searched for new OE shocks I couldn't find anything cross referencing the numbers that were on mine, so I had to go by the suspension code 6F1/7F120210703_161833.jpg
